les Abattoirs, Musée – Frac Occitanie Toulouse

A unique institution born from the merger of the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of the City of Toulouse, and the Regional Contemporary Art Fund, the Abattoir integrates its permanent collections, exhibitions, a library, a public gallery, workshops, an auditorium, a bookstore and a restaurant all on one site.

They distribute the institute’s collections throughout Occitania and support the work of artists in the most diverse places through direct contact with local stakeholders.

With an ambitious calendar of exhibitions at its Toulouse site and throughout the region, the presence of both major and emerging artists in its programming, and the diversity of its events aimed at wide audiences, the Abattoir is more than ever an important player in the cultural, artistic, economic and social  life of the City of Toulouse and the Occitanie Region.  The Abattoir is increasingly asserting itself on the national and international scene by forging strong partnerships.
