Musée Casa Pairal

At the Casa Pairal Museum you will learn about the city of Perpignan, the Roussillon region and the history of its earliest inhabitants up to the present day. Wandering through the exhibitions, you will discover ethnographic collections, local traditions and folk art. Your visit ends at the summit with a 360° view of Roussillon plain and the mountains that surround it.

The museum is housed in the Castillet, the former city entrance gate classified as an  Historical Monument since 1889.  It is one of the symbols of Perpignan and of the Catalan culture. The “little château” is today a venue for all of the big events held by the city.
