The Association
Occitanie Musées is the Association of Curators and Scientific Personnel of the Occitanie Museums. It brings together scientific staff from the Museums of France and cultural and heritage establishments in the Occitanie region. It integrates more than a hundred professionals in all areas of museum activity (management, conservation, mediation, documentation etc.). The Association is the regional arm of the AGCCPF (The national Association of curators and Museum professionals and the public heritage sites of France)

In the heart of Nîmes, the Musée des Beaux-Arts welcomes you for a journey through time and space. From the Renaissance to the 20th century, from an official portrait to a still life with a subtle play of light, plunge into a rich and varied universe. Paintings, sculptures, graphic arts and objets d’art invite you to discover, contemplate and dream.

The museum renews itself through regular hangings of collections and the organization of temporary exhibitions. The museum also offers a wide range of events and encounters designed to encourage visitors to discover the collections and exhibitions, and to build bridges between the arts such as music, dance and theater. The events program is aimed at children, teenagers and adults alike, with lectures, workshops for children aged 3 and over, concerts, shows, storytelling… Guided tours are also available.
