The Toulouse Museum is considered the second natural history museum of France. It puts itself at the junction of the relationship between humans, nature and the environment. By stimulating the curiosity of the public, it contributes to research and to the nourishment of intellectual debate.

Located in the village of Salmiech, the Rural Transport Museum is housed in a former church. Its extensive collection includes examples of rural transportation as well as traditional local modes of locomotion and traction: vehicles pulled by hand and animal, the history of the wheel, the tools used by the blacksmith and the wheelwright.

Formerly a seventeenth-century Episcopal Palace, the Ingres Museum is home to the collections of two famous Montauban artists, the painter Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres and the sculptor Antoine Bourdelle.
